Test Run - I Think I may be Crazy

As a family we have been on many road trips, but this was our first with this truck and 5th wheel. I was left with so many feelings of doubt after this trip. As a family we have quit our jobs, pulled the kid out of school, and signed a contract to air B&B our house. Yet, this trip did not go smoothly, and we had problems! 

I attempted to stick to the 365 rule during this trip and only take one photograph a day, but this is the photograph that sums up the trip. The problem with photographs documenting an event is they focus on one moment in time. Often, I chose to focus on one positive moment in time. This moment is not always representative of the event. Yet, when I look back at my life, I tend to remember only the good. I will strive to be accurate.  It would be impossible to have 365 days of pure joy with no difficulty and disappointments.

Yes, we are still pushing forward with a plan to leave for a year on September 1st. This test trip made us rethink how we are going to do many things...are we going to travel with a second car? What do we really need to bring and how are we going to transport those electric bikes we were so excited about getting?

"Adventure begins at the end of your comfort zone." My comfort zone is being tested. I will continue to move forward, because if I give up, I will never know if this crazy idea could have worked.
