Remodeling our new home

The only thing I initially knew about 5th Wheels is that I do not like the brown interior design pattern they come with. There was no way I was going to live in a home with brown wallpaper for an entire year. This 5th wheel was in our backyard less than 48 hours before I broke out a can of paint.

Much of the time I am a better supervisor than a worker bee. So, I need to thank the man in my life who actually did most of the work, “Thank you Dave.” It did not take him long to realize I was going to paint no matter what and we both know he is a much better painter than I am.

This weekend project took a month of long weekends. As always, multiple heated conversations about design choices, many trips to the store and more money than anticipated.

After multiple coats of paint, some wallpaper and new furniture this 5th wheel now feels like OUR home. I smile every time I walk through the front door.
